RM interface becomes unresponsive if I (1) begin to edit a sentence AND (2) then click "x" when deciding not to edit it

Description
To reproduce this state, from the sentence-editing box click "x" in the corner. The box goes away, but the UI that remains is unresponsive.
I can correct this by reloading the tab -- and the loaded rule remains without loss (i.e. changes not yet "saved" are retained). This is good, but is not known to a user ahead of time. The issue is just that after closing the editing box, there's need to re-activate the main logic gate page.
