Description

  1. On my laptop, running RM on Firefox over my tethered phone from a rural location with a weak signal, it took 2 minutes 46 seconds to load this 7711-row table. On a recent call we discussed adding a timer or progress bar to the UI so that the user knows the file is loading and that the app is not stalled.

  2. Since RM does not yet have a field for the "inner row" data column, I adapted the .csv file (using the LibreOffice spreadsheet) by removing the 1st column's header and shifting all the other headers to the left. But this caused RM to treat everything as "outer row" data (now putting two levels of 'WHEN' on the left). So I tried revising my adapted table to place a column head back over the final column. This didn't solve the problem -- upon import to RuleMaker it still created the second row level on the left. See the attached screenshot.

  3. Once the large sample table is loaded into the RM Lookup Table UI, for some reason the hamburger menu icon no longer functions (on my system). Therefore for me to remove the loaded table when I want to load the newly adjusted table, I need to close the browser tab altogether, start a new session at https://rulemaker3-dev.onrender.com. Then I can load the other .csv. It's not obvious exactly why the menu becomes inactive.

  4. Currently RM loads ONLY up to 5000 rows, after which it begins over-writing all (or "many of") the rest of the rows repeatedly on the 5001st row as shown in the attached screenshot. Since this occurs after exactly 5000, it may be there is a programmed limit. The round number 5000 could be random number due to capacity constraint, but it seems likely to be a programmed limitation somewhere.
