This paper was prepared under contract to the World Bank at the request of Ian Johnson, founding Administrator of the Global Environment Facility (GEF) as a collaborative initiative of the World Bank, United Nations Development Program, and the United Nations Environment Program. This is the full ERA-IoR diagram, broken down into its elements overlaid on the system schematic, across multiple frames of this presentation file.

There is not yet any text document to explain this set of diagrams. I'll work on that next; but my intention is that the illustration should be as self-explanatory as possible. I would be very grateful for any feedback regarding aspects that could be better designed or portrayed....

This project classification framework is designed to group projects by three broad characteristics:

  1. Schemata (a cognitive framework or concept that helps organize and interpret information);
  2. Activity Type; and
  3. Scale.
